ABOUT Ariana Hodes was born and raised in New Hampshire to musician parents who made playing gigs around New England a family affair. An ace roadie before she ever stepped onstage, she got the closest and most personal look at the world of the indie musician. It's no wonder that she's a natural performer on any stage she graces. Between fairs and theaters, Ariana's songwriting began privately in the pages of many journals, and morphed into a public effort when she gained confidence in her sound while living and creating in Los Angeles. She made the move to Nashville in 2014, and has proceeded to play live around town at dive bars and honky tonks, cowrite with other fantastic songwriters, and record her premiere EP of original tunes, Last Night's Makeup. Mike Borchetta calls her, "an early Kathy Mattea." She calls her sound Garage-Americana.
